There’s not too much to celebrate now (save for good health and a roof over our heads!) however I’m pleased to announce that I was awarded a COVID19 Artist Relief Grant from Artist Relief, a partnership between Academy of American Poets, Artadia, Creative Capital, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, MAP Fund, National YoungArts Foundation, and United States Artists. This money helps to recoup losses from the postponement of my MFA exhibition, lost income due to not having access to my studio anymore, and provides a bit of a safety net for us through the summer. Thank you so much Artist Relief!!!
Sadly, my MASSMoCA residency has been postponed - not cancelled however! More news on this soon, as well as my rescheduled MFA exhibition. I am craving to be back in the East, one way or another.
Finally, the University of Wisconsin-Madison Art Department (EDIT: And The Chazen Museum of Art)! have completed posting all of mine and my cohort’s digital MFA Exhibits - see them here! I appreciate everything the department has done for us in this difficult and confusing time for graduating artists.
Til next time -
